Volunteer Trips & Responsible Travel
Get really immersed in the local culture and help make a positive difference in the world we live in! Learn more about travelling responsibly and things you can do to help make travel more sustainable for all. We have a number of different trips to offer from spending the majority of the trip time assisting with a project in a rural village, to trips where you arent personally involved in working on any projects 'hands on', but through your tour price, you are contributing to a specific project and the increase and focus on sustainable travel in the area you're visiting. If you do choose a trip where you're involved in working on a project or in a school, you don't need any skills to join - just an open and positive mind and on some trips, a willingness to commit to some physical labour. Whichever volunteer trip you decide on, it promises to be life changing experience for both those you're helping and often also for yourself! Please call us for the full range of volunteer and responsible travel trips we can offer.

Community Building and Teaching in Peru
Cusco was the ancient capital of the Inca empire and is the nearest urban centre to the famous ruins of Machu Picchu. Despite the tourism of the area, the rural population remains very poor, and Madventurer run a number of Community Projects to help the local people improve their living conditions. Recent projects include building community centres and classrooms, renovating children's homes and the construction of irrigation projects. The Teaching Placements allow you to spend time teaching in local schools and helping out in the orphanages, providing vital support to Cuzco's many street kids.
