Burma, Bhutan and the Himalaya

Ian says "Burma is now one of our top emerging destinations. Travellers who enjoy Indochina will discover a country relatively untouched by the outside world. Burmese hospitality and friendliness is legendary - now's the time to experience it first-hand! the must see place is Bagan with its 4400 temples." Bhutan - Any country that measures its success in 'Gross National Happiness' is a 'must-see'! Bhutan has a strong Buddhist culture, for long isolated from the world, and has become a 'must-see for trekkers and photographers in particular. Of course, the scenic highlight is a visit to the spectacular 'Dragon's Nest' monastery, but it will be the friendly locals that will leave the most lasting impression on you! Also Ian says "Nepal is back in vogue with Kiwi trekkers."
